In January the Australian Tourism Ministry launched a global search to find a person qualified for the “best job in the world.”
They asked applicants to post a video on why they deserved to be chosen, and the winner would receive $105,000 and the title of “island caretaker” for the Great Barrier Reef. This caretaker would snorkel, swim and report back with blogs and video to the entire world.
Now after the contest was launched I didn’t hear much after the initial hype. However, I just stumbled upon the website with all of the videos from applicants. There you can see all of the wildcard submissions and vote for your favorite one.
