Austinites: Do it!

by Blake Sunshine on April 14, 2010

My good friend, and fellow Austin blogger, Rebecca is throwing a birthday party for her blog. It’s going to be an awesome party and way better than what I did for my blog’s first birthday.

So please join me and come celebrate local entertaining and the 1st birthday of TheRebeccammendations (www.Rebeccammendations.com), A Guide to Entertainig in Austin and Beyond at The Belmont, Saturday, April 17th from 5-8 PM.

There will be:

-Half-price appetizers and drinks!

-Over 25 local businesses are coming together!

-Music by local artists Jordan Whitmore, Courrier, and Matt McCloskey

-Raffle prizes from local businesses such as Snack Bar, Leaf, Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop, Limbo Jewelry Design, Bona Dea Bread, Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, and more!

And the whole thing benefits Music for the City (www.musicforthecity.org), a local non-profit that connects local artists and musicians with local businesses to support local charities.

Go here and reserve your free tickets to attend: www.one-night-of-entertaining.eventbrite.com.

It’s going to be fun! See you there.
