I really enjoyed reading this post and also the blue jet blue potato chips. Its nice to see that Millennia's still know how to interact without their computer. Flying on planes is one of my favorite activities because for a few hours you have nowhere to be with no method of communication. For the good and for the bad, on long flights I always end talking to my neighbor and learning their entire life story. Now that internet has made its way onto the airplane, will I still be able to do that?

Excellent post Blake! I actually got a little teary-eyed (with joy) knowing that such service still exists. I wish we could get this post out to Corporate America since customer service is an essential part of business, and that is severely lacking in today's economic climate, except for places like Jet Blue.

I was just looking at flights the other day, and Jet Blue was an option, and from a brand standpoint, I felt good about them. This post reinforced that feeling.

Thanks for sharing this piece of awesomeness!

LOVE this! You should check out 'give them the pickle'- its a business model about going the extra mile to make your customer happy. I first heard this when my mom started working for Southwest Airlines as its a big part of their business model- put the customer first and go the extra mile. Too often, I think businesses lose sight of the importance of customers, but your Jet Blue story is a great example of a business remembering that customers are the reason they're around! I look forward to flying Jet Blue in the future!
