I hate Texas Tech. And if you aren’t sure why I have this hatred just watch this video.
And no, winning this year’s game still has not covered up the bitterness I hold for Texas Tech.
Though I didn’t hate this play.

Now, I have another reason to hate Texas Tech. According to Mashable, they have banned Twitter from their football team. Apparently a few of the players Tweeted about Coach Mike Leach, which has led him to ban the entire team from using the platform.
Mashable said, ”The tweets that reportedly prompted the drastic move aren’t necessarily tweets that reflect poor social media judgment, but they do highlight discord and disappointment within team ranks, and don’t portray Leach or team morale in a positive light.”
Banning Twitter is such a stupid move on Coach Leach’s part. Instead, he should be working with his team to improve morale in hopes that they will one day Tweet about their team in a positive light. Leach shouldn’t be allowed to ban a social media platform, just like he can’t ban his players from talking to each other or using the telephone. You can’t ban communication! And even if you try, I’m sure the players will start using another platform to talk soon enough.
Leach needs to realize that it’s not the platform that is the problem, but the message his players are sending. Banning Twitter won’t solve Texas Tech’s morale problem. In fact, it’s likely to make them worse.
