Stop giving Millennials a bad rep!

by Blake Sunshine on August 2, 2009

Today, I am not happy.

I’ve been spending the last year begging and pleading with members of other generations to understand Millennials and trying to prove that we are not just trophy kids. And then, my friend Morgan sends me this video.

That’s right, this video talks about The Universal Records Database, a website that allows anyone to break a world record. Thereby making world record breaking simple enough for anyone. And the world records that people are breaking are ridiculous. Like the most peanuts smashed by hand in 15 seconds. Besides being ridiculous it is totally giving Millennials a bad rep! We don’t need to break a world record to prove that we are inventive and smart!

Thanks a lot URD for furthering the stereotype that Millennials need a trophy or title or praise to feel worthy.

That video was enjoyable, although sad how much some crave fame! keep up your excellent writing.
